Were did the idea of a Pre Trib Rapture come from? This is a fare question to ask. In this study we will look at some early Church history. Where do the pre-tribulation rapture theory originated? The pre-tribulation rapture originated over in England. The theory it has all but vanished away there. But still in America the literal concept lives on, and it is at the local church level it persists strongly.
